David is an extremely experienced businessman and technologist with a long track record of creating long-term value for business from technology. David is strategic IT advisor to a leading international executive recruitment group and to Bucks New University. He is a board member of SITEFORUM Group and a partner with MDT Partners, technology startup advisors.
Before founding myITdirector in 2003, David was Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the Economist Group, the leading source of analysis on international business and world affairs.
From 1989 David spent 12 years leading the international IT group for Walt Disney TV International, responsible for launching Disney Channels in all major markets and licensing of Walt Disney and ABC TV programming to international broadcasters. The division had a turnover of $1.1 billion and David was instrumental in supporting business initiatives with technology innovations in Audience Research Analysis, a “Barter Sales” distribution business and leading-edge TV Channel Management Technology.
David started his career with CACI Limited, the leading provider of innovative marketing and information solutions in the United Kingdom. David has a degree in Electronics & Computer Science from University College London.
